VISION4AI Newsletter
| July 2024

As we are slowly approaching the end of the “first generation NoEs” – the ICT-48 projects that VISION has had the privilege of supporting and facilitating together – we are sending one of the last VISION newsletters. This one focuses primarily on the 4th Community Workshop 2024 & AIDA Symposium held in June in Thessaloniki and also provides an overview of the summer and autumn events of the entire ecosystem of European Networks of Excellence Centres in AI & Robotics (AI NoEs). Therefore, we also take the liberty to include in the mailing of this newsletter all those interested and attending the Community Workshop.

We still have one last one to come, which will be dedicated to an overview of achievements and success stories namely of the AI4Media, ELISE, HumanE-AI-Net, and TAILOR networks, as well as the collaborative work done over the last 4 years.

NEWS

The 4th AI Community Workshop Overview

More than one hundred AI experts onsite and several hundred online convened in Thessaloniki, Greece, for the 4th AI Community Workshop & AIDA Symposium to discuss strategic pathways of “AI Made in Europe”.

Have you missed some of the discussions or workshops? Recordings of selected sessions are available on YouTube or event website: in particular for Day 1 and Day 2.

The 4th Community Workshop 2024took place on 26 and 27 June 2024 and was co-organised by all European Networks of Excellence Centres in AI, Data and Robotics (NoEs)

The event also received a lot of attention from the European Commission, which published a news item on its website.

What did the leading representatives of NoEs and the European AI community take away from the event? Find out in the following interviews.

Do you have a minutes? Have you attend the Community Workshop onsite or online? Please give us feedback on the event. Your insights will help us enhance future events.
