TAILOR – Foundations of Trustworthy AI – Integrating Reasoning, Learning and Optimization
ID: 952215
This event is organised by the consortium of partners of the project VISION (www.vision4ai.eu), the coordination and support action (CSA) awarded under the H2020-ICT-48-2020 call. The aim of VISION is to reinforce, interconnect and mobilise Europe’s AI community, in particular by fostering synergies and joint initiatives between the four existing networks of AI centres of excellence (NoEs) as well as with other key stakeholders. These projects are a key component in the European Commission’s AI strategy, and should thus be better known by society at large.
AI is here and AI is becoming more and more a part of all our lives. Europe is trailing other regions in turning new enabling technologies like AI into global platforms, products and services. Therefore, an ecosystem of excellence is very much needed. This means that excellence in AI is necessary as a basis for meaningful, consequential leadership in human-centric and trustworthy AI. The ambition of the ICT-48 Networks of Excellence – AI4Media, ELISE, HumanE-AI-Net and TAILOR – is to leverage the best Europe has to offer in AI research and unite the fragmented AI landscape in Europe to become one of the key players in the global AI ecosystem by succeeding with “AI made in Europe”.
