19 October 2022 | 10:00 am – 8:30 pm | Neth-ER, Aarlenstraat 22, 1050 Brussels, Belgium

As you may remember, the First ICT-48 Community Workshop was held purely online in June 2021. We would like to follow up on this activity and struggle in identifying opportunities for synergies, fostering collaborations within the Networks of AI Excellence Centres and beyond. Join us again and do not miss the opportunity to networking and community building. This time in person!

Who is warmly welcome?

The workshop is designed specifically for the entire ICT-48 Community of AI4Media, ELISE, HumanE-AI-Net, TAILOR and VISION, in particular:

  • ICT-48 Project Coordinators
  • Representatives of the European Commission
  • ICT-48 Scientific or strategic leadership
  • WP-leads

We expect 5 participants per ICT-48 Network of Excellence.

The afternoon sessions (from 13:00) are aimed at the broader AI R&I community topics. Therefore, also ELSA, euROBIN, AI4Europe, and Adra-e representatives are welcome!

Note: In case you are interested in attending this event but do not fit in the above listed categories, we kindly recommed you to keep an eye out for our follow-up session at the EBDVF 2022 in Prague.

Goal of the event

  • Joined discussion and alignment on scientific and strategic topics for ICT-48 (specifically a European AI SRA)
  • Exchange of best practices and experiences
  • Social gathering and networking.

This 2nd ICT-48 Community Event will address a number of topics of common interest of the AI Community. We expect deeper discussion on the SRA AI Roadmap. Based on that, we will be able to jointly “align” the roadmaps of the four ICT-48 NoEs at least in terms of structure and language.

Your input to the EU AI SRA is very much welcome and valuable!

MeetUp

The event allows for a physical ICT48 NoE Project Coordinators meeting for the first time – Do not miss this opportunity!

We are happy that the 2nd ICT-48 Community Event will be colocated with relevant community activities, such as

  • 17 Oct – Launch event for 42 new projects (organised by AI4Europe and Adra-e)

Stay Tuned for the Wider Community Workshop!

All members of the wider AI community, please mark in your calendars: EBDVF22 | 21-23 November 2022 | Prague as we plan a special session during this summit.

We would like to present the outcomes of the discussion on the SRA for Trustworthy AI in Europe, and to elicit feedback to it.

We believe that this design enables us to build links to other projects and initiatives in an effective way beneficial for all.
