Wishing you a happy 2024 year filled with success and achievements! With this newsletter, we bring you an overview of activities related to our European AI Community, namely the European Networks of Excellence Centres in AI & Robotics (NoEs).
NEWS
The TAILOR network has produced a series of videos, based on the major chapters of the TAILOR Handbook of Trustworthy AI. A longer video resumes selected key concepts of Trustworthy AI.
Learn about the progress the ELSA network has made in the first year of its activities in the fields of machine learning towards a secure and trustworthy artificial intelligence.
Organised by CLAIRE, VISION brings you the recording of discussion of representatives of four European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs) about their practice focused on Sustainable AI. Learn more about the EDIH Network and their understanding of the Sustainable AI.
Do not miss to visit the euROBIN booth at the European Robotics Forum 2024, that will be held in Rimini, Italy, 13 – 15 March 2024. euROBIN will display cutting-edge robots and organise two workshops on “Transferability in Robotics” and “EuroCore repository – a vehicle for transferability in Robotics”.

OPPORTUNITIES | OPEN CALLS
euROBIN launches its 2nd Open Call for the Technology Exchange Programme to select up to 12 companies of any size, research organisations and academia research institutions.
Now open to researchers outside the ELISE/ELLIS network! The exchange of knowledge and ideas among the experienced researchers through visits and collaborative projects.
A dedicated mobility fund that supports long- and short-term visits in the network! It will act as a reference point for PhD & Postdoc candidates in machine-learning driven fields in Europe and worldwide.
Now open to all European AI researchers! Researchers from a non-TAILOR lab are welcome to visiting a TAILOR lab and vice versa.
Submissions are invited for the 33rd International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence, which is planned to be held in Jeju Island, South Korea, 3-9 August 2024.

Hybrid Human-Artificial Intelligence (HHAI) international conference (10-14 June, 2024, Malmö) welcomes contributions about all types of technology, from robots and conversational agents to multi-agent systems and machine learning models. Paper submission deadline: 2 February, 2024
An international AI Quest is calling for students at Irish universities, colleges, institutes, and international students from anywhere to join forces to generate solutions for environmental sustainability using provided data sets.
The aim of the IEEE SaTML 2024 competition is to find out whether simple prompting and filtering mechanisms can make LLM applications robust to prompt injection and extraction. Submission deadline: 15 January 2024

Connect and Talk to the European AI Community on Mattermost
Mattermost communication platform is a result of the joint effort within the VISION project. The Mattermost installation has been established to provide an effective, moderated and functional communication tool for the facilitation of the cooperation, interactions and knowledge sharing between Europe’s AI networks of excellence (ICT48-NoEs), the AI research community, and other stakeholders across diverse areas of AI.
